How many times have you wondered why other sellers have more visitors and clients on their eBay account than you do? If you think it is all about luck you are so wrong! If you want to have more customers you have to attract them with something.
There are a lot of scams all over the internet. This is why most people like to deal with sellers in which they can trust. Thus, the higher your rating is the more potential buyers you will attract. Some buyers even give a first look to what other customers said about you and only afterwards analyze what you have to offer.
In order to get positive feedback from your buyers you must firstly treat them with respect. If you are going to make a deal with someone, treat him like you are two business partners standing face to face and not two names which communicate over the internet. This will make your interlocutor more confident and will make him have a good opinion about you.
Also, be prompt in answering all the emails you receive. The more you keep your clients waiting, the less chances you will have to receive good ratings. If you are quick in answering mails and correct in the information you deliver your relationship with the buyer will improve significantly and when the deal is closed you can be sure he will write some nice words about you.
Also do not forget to be fast in delivering the items you sold and be prepared to offer post-sell consulting. If you have delivered the item and afterwards do not answer any of the emails sent by the buyer, it is clear that something is wrong with you and the buyer will say it in his rating.
Never underestimate the power feedbacks have on customers. In fact, if you want to have more visitors, and thus more potential buyers, you should do your best to keep your current clients satisfied, so that they post positive feedbacks and give you good ratings.
